Why it is desperate and horrible trying to convince people

We aren’t in business to convince people we are in business to serve solve and make the life of the customer easier and make money .

What gets my attention is the push marketing tactics brands are using as opposed to pulling .

Both indirect and direct marketing are useful but in the right context .

A lot of us in the market are competing on price points .

When you develope unique products you don’t have to compete on price .

The market is saturated but very few of us are differentiating .

A lot of things are repetitive which makes marketers predictable .

Very few businesses want to take the time to build community .

Random people pop up in my inbox trying to sell me their services on a regular basis .

In their minds their products and services are the bomb but What about us the consumers ?

As brands are you full filling the need of the prospect prior to the final pitch ?

Things like value relationship trust must be ticked off before you ask for the sale .

I see marketers asking for the sale immediately which is a huge turn off .

The product isn’t as important as behavior patterns and trends .

Consumers set the trends and if you aren’t aware of their likes and dislikes how can you customize your services to meet their needs ?

You are fixated on your products but the consumer is not .

Innovation and technology drives growth .

You are trying your best to sell your services but no one is budging .

Without a strategy just hoping something sticks you will lose .

In stead of trying to convince people i.e chasing the sale promote solutions and let the consumer buy in voluntarily .

Forcing yourself onto people will put a bitter taste in their mouths .

Even if you have a good sales presentation peoples fear of buying will be a major determining factor in the sales process .

If you want people to be convinced don’t try and convince them let the results do the talking , they’ll naturally be convinced .

People can sense when it’s strictly about their money only .

Yes we are in business to make money but making money shouldn’t be your first priority.

Your fist priority should be giving solutions that meet the needs of your target audience .

One of the reasons why there are big gaps in the market is because of a lack of solution providers .

If you can be apart of the few filling these gaps I am sure you will make sales .

It is impossible to force results in your favor .

Trying to force things is going against the dynamics of nature .

Attraction and Negotiations is an important aspect of business however you cannot negotiate unless you have the peoples attention .

It is harder for you to stand out and make headway using the same marketing techniques as every one else .

People get bombarded with advertisements on social media on a daily basis .

People also get tired of seeing their inboxes and time lines flooded with links and or proposals .

What are you doing to separate yourself from the rest ?

How much content are you putting out ?

Do you engage in community discussion ? Are you building your email list ?

Knowing when to with draw is vital in sales ,not every one you negotiate with is going to be an ideal client .

Listen to people but watch their actions .

With in the first few seconds of your pitch you should have a basic idea of who you are dealing with .

Knowing and understanding your audience demographics can save you time and money .

Every customer and prospect you interact with is your data provider .

They will give you the insight you need . Get a team to collect data so that you can identify those that qualify and disqualify those that don’t alot easier .

Conclusion

If you don’t know who your target audience is you will be chasing your tail . In other words you are much more likely to market to people who are not interested in what you do .
