Do not ever think that you are too big for the customer.

 

The attitude of I am bigger than my customer is  setting you up for a crash.

 

People will hold you to account and chastize you .

Showing Authenticity and a genuine sense of building sustainable business shows me that you  brand is tuned in.

The marketers that are not tuned in getting  caught up in the noise lose out.

 

These are the very same people that get tuned out by the customer.

 Customers  go where they are getting the best service . Who wouldn’t ?

 

People like shopping in places that they are comfortable.

 

Being polite and helpful goes along way.

 

Giving that good customer service is going to help establish you as a leading brand .

 

In addition to that you can win over customers by word of mouth.

 

Remember some businesses establish themselves then neglect the same people that patronize them.

 

This is arrogant and disrespectful to your fan base.

 

Heck it is a turn off for potential customers too.

Let’s not kid ourselves because we all have room to grow .

 

There is not one business that has all the solutions and answers.

 

As managers , employee’s you have to keep your ego in check because it can cost you to lose business.
I am 100% sure  that Seasoned businessman ,newcomers alike can sit at a table and agree that improvement is something they  need.

 

I know that I made a bold statement about people agreeing that  they need improvement  because some people think they do not need to improve .

 

But the ones that acknowledge that  they need to improve will propsper and grow as a personal brand .

 

I need to improve too .

 

After you finish reading this article hopefully you will be more intune with what is going on .

 

Things change fast on the internet . 

 

So as marketers, corporations we have to be nimble and quick.

 

Innovation and research is one the key factors that drive business success.

 

Some of the  techniques we will be discussing are rooted deep in the business soil.

One thing is for sure our core customer base will always be human being 

 

And that is not changing in this lifetime 
This is even more of a reason why we need to humanize the exprience for the customer.

 

Most people that I know like to be treated with respect whether they shop or not.

 

That is something we need to keep in mind moving forward.

 

It is not just about what you can get out of the deal ?

 

If you give the customer what they want out of the deal you will get what you want on the back end ? 

 

So why are we not more brands branding  that way ?

 

Business is a two way street .If you continuously spam and disregard customer’s then they  will abandon you.

 

I see the attitudes from sales reps and cashier’s on a daily basis .

 

I have witnessed and been on the receiving end of some good customer service .

 

There is this one appliance place that I go to called Masters .

 

Anyhow whenever I go there I look for Kenny.

 

Kenny knows his products and services like the back of the hand.

 

I have not really seen an employee as informed and ponctual as him.

 

I feel so comfortable knowing that he is on the warehouse floor.

Kenny understands and knows how important  the customer is to the business.

 

While I am a customer you have Remember that  I am renting your services.

Kenny understands this well.

 

When you go into a shop and buy something you are not obligated to go back.

 

You do that by choice .

 

You have to earn your right to retain and get the customers money.

Like Kenny . 

If you go into a shop and get good customer service it is highly  likely that you will go back .

 

But if you get poor customer service will you go back ?

 

I hate poor customer service .

 

I think that brands would get more balance and rewards if they invested more money into employee training programs.

 

Your employees are they ones standing sitting ,selling, receiving money and complaints .

 

How do you expect your business to grow if Your employees are I’ll equipped ?

 

That is one simple tip you can apply .

 

Most likely you knew about it but chose to overlook it. 

 

And Remember Your reputation is on the line every time you market , interact,make a transaction .

 

Yes mistakes are bound to happen as is normal.

 

We can accept mistakes but not stupidity.

 

Some mistakes are more costly than others so be aware .

 

But it is nothing you can do to eliminate mistakes .

 

You can screw up on an customers  order.

 

But  you can make up for it .

 

Even if it means offering a steep discount or free shipping to accommodate and compensate .

 

Some businesses don’t do that .

So why not nurture the people buying from you ?

 

If you cannot nurture the people buying your Products and services then how can you bring  in new customers to expand your brand ?

 

If you have a demographic of people  that keep coming back that means you have loyal customers.

 

I have a loyal following  too but that is because of the service I provide .

 

I will never take that for granted.

 

Just to put a smile on some ones face make the biggest difference.

 

Just as easy as it was for you to entertain a stranger with a bust of humor 

 

It is going to be easier for them make a purchase because you provided some value .

 

By huminizing  the experience you open the door for sales.

 

If you are not huminizing the experience you will lose out to the Brands that do.

 

The game is played 24/7 365 days per year.

 

Literally there are no days off .

 

You have to market yourself over and over.

 

Nothing fancy either.

What I am saying is that with out the work, the time ,energy  results are bismal at Best.

 

Some brands are not willing to get into the action.

 

Even businesses with  thatbig budgets are struggling to cope .

 

For the longest time they were spoiled as shit was a lot easier.

 

Just take some money and put it behind a radio or tv advert and hope to make sales.

 

That was a heck of a lot easier then.

 

Now these brands are on theback foot.

 

These are the  platforms  that used to dominate

 

 

In the age of social media  there is

 

 

You would be surprised at the amount of brands that are not willing to Integrate these channels into their systems.

 

So with  that being said there are lots of low  hanging fruit for you to pick up.

 

You can win customers over from all size brands.

 

This is where you can get yourself in on the act of daily conversations.

 

You can pick up some big wins .

 

Even if you have a tiny budget you can establish a foot hold .

 

But it takes work.

 

Do you have the will power to build up your brand ?

 

Do you have the skill and team to evolve and delegate task ?

 

Moving forward you will have to be nimble and creative.

 

Some businesses have failed because they failed to adapt and Innovate .

With that being said that is where you have to be.The main purpose of being on those platforms it is to build awareness and evoke Interst in your brand.

 

Be Consistent

Once people consistently see you  they will gravitate towards you.I am on Facebook posting in groups everyday. I post status updates everyday too.More people are engaging with me and it is almost like they jump at my comnand.

 

Be patient

Yes I did tell you to be patient .Do not be in such a hurry to make the sale .What I am saying is that if you move to fast you can blow your Chances of ever making a sale to that person.

 

Listen

Communicate with people and listen out to their concerns  .Listening is a skill that you should learn.

 

Most Brands want To be heard .Some of them throw sales bragains etc and expect the populace to jump.

 

If your not willing to listen to your audience then why should they listen  to you ?

 

Takeheed

Today you are winning tomorrow you are losing . That is what happens when you neglect your base.It does not matter how much revenue you bring in either When customers leave your revenues wil decline.

 

Brand yourself

Remember whatever  you post and advertise is representative of your brand .

And trust is the most important part of business.As a brand you should set out to create memorable experiences for people.

 

Stay focused

If you want to be successful then you have to tune out the noise.People will try offering you their products and services .If your not stable minded  people will get into  your head.

 

Test and tweak

Keep evolving your brand and testing.Do not get comfortable.Remember what I said earlier about people places and things changing.Technology changes everyday.Only by testing can you determine what does and doesn’t work.

 

Go where the attention goes

Where ever people’s eyeballs are that is exactly where you need to be .

 

Strive to be of value

 

Lots of people start businesses be because it gives them the freedom of  being in control of their  Destiny. You can have good intentions but still not reach your goals if your not offering the value people need.

 

Leverage 

 

Leverage peoples time and money.Use people as your resource.This means that you should be out and about networking with others.

 

Build 

 

Do not be so quick to tear down a competitor to try get their business.

Look for ways to enhance your services so that you can gain more market share and customers .

Be valuable

Being Competitive  is not going to bring the customer the value. Being aware and useful in the market will. Do not get caught in the trap of outdoing the next businessman.The only person that you will hurt is your brand .Focus on the customer .Do not be distracted or drawn in by the competition.If some one wants to go head to head let them go. You are in business to solve problems and bring. Value. As long as you pump out the value and solve you would naturally become a more reputable Brand than the next one  .
