How many blogs are there in 2020?
There are over 600 million blogs in the world today, out of over 1.7 billion websites.
There are a total of 600 million blogs world wide ( Google) That alone tells you how popular blogging has become.
Blogging Is for entry level writers right on up to seasoned pros .
There is no pressure unless you choose to put pressure on yourself.
Luckily I have found ways to improve my writing skills and increase my productivity .
On that note I want to take time out to thank you for tuning in to today’s episode .
Today I am going to walk you through some steps to help you understand why you should continue blogging.
Firstly let me explain something to you to help avoid bloggers burn out.
To be a successful you don’t have to take it serious.Being serious takes the enjoyment out of blogging .
Consistently learning and practicing will sharpen up your skills .
There are people that started writing as a hobby and became successful.
I have Been posting content consistently for atleast 2 years.
Some bloggers post daily others like my self post weekly bi weekly monthly .

Find a schedule that works for you.
Blogging is not complicated yet some of us make it that way.
Creativity ,Fun ,Love Is what is needed to help you grow as content marketer.
Each of us bloggers have different methods and goals.
Check out latest post on blogging statistics from opt In monster .

Some people have the time to blog every day and some of us don’t.
I mean even if you do have time to blog every day why do it if your not having fun being creative ?
Living up to other people’s expectations is going to cause you to burn out.
There is no hard and fixed rule that says ” blog daily to be effective “
I said it earlier and I will say it again productivity and consistency and learning Is key.
When it comes to content production value is the most important .
Garry Vaynerchuk is the master micro content creator.
Think twitter .
You are allowed roughly 140 characters or more yet people are driving massive traffic to websites ,selling merchandise building email list .
To get the most out of blogging you have to find a balance between creativity production and having fun .
When you take the fun out of the equation it becomes a job .
Yes drafting up content publishing and editing is an exercise but it’s not unbearable.
Taking it on as a job makes it less fun .
If you search You will find tips and advice from millions of bloggers .
Sometimes too much advice will confuse you especially when some has had massive success.
What I am saying is that just because someone else is successful doing things a certain way doesn’t mean you will.
(Find your moose ) Tim Ferris
What this means is you need to test to see what works for you to gelp make your experience enjoyable .
I put lots of time and energy into blogging but I don’t look at it like a job .
Doing so allows me to be creative and flexible .
It easy to get caught up chasing word count and deadlines .
One of the other reasons why I blog consistently is due to the fact I draft up my post 5 days in advance .
Leaving drafting and publish to the last minute doesn’t allow room for errors to corrected .
It puts so much pressure on you, then ofcourse you might not be as creative and productive as you can be .
Hence why I don’t chase deadlines .
Create and produce quality content.
Some peoole start blogs then months later their blog is dormant .
In other cases people start with good intentions but get lost and confused.
Being a new blogger can be tough but being bombarded with information won’t help either .
Check out the statistics from Google
(31 Millon active bloggers post at least once per month) Source Google
With that number of active monthly bloggers it shows people have an interest o.
Whilst that is a good thing it us a curse to a certain extent because that means more information being disseminated.
Remember I talked about bloggers being uninformed .
Starting out with information not followed by action is useless .
I remember when I first started blogging I was on every podcast and webinar .
It wasn’t I learned it takes time to build authority and loyal following that I realised I needed to get busy .
- Pod casting
- Youtubing
- Sharing in group settings
- Guest blogging
- Tweeting
- Writing E books
Every thing mentioned above helps to drive extra traffic. With time and practice you should see results.
Anything to do with blogging you should see a result even if it’s not the outcome you wanted.
You have the privilege and freedom to be networking with other bloggers.
(Blogs have been rated as the 5th most trustworthy source for gathering online information ) Source opt-in monster
I talk about building trust very often and as you see blogging is a good way to do build trust
I guess depends on your goals too.

Be professional yes but focus on making money or going full time as a blogger. Work increments
When you are having fun there is no pressure which means you are likely to enjoy the process more .
Take it on as a hobby
Produce quality content regularly and let the chips fall into place . Don’t set expectations but Set goals and guidelines that align with your schedule and the desired outcome that you want to achieve.
Having fun life is the most important, blogging isn’t any different.
I wish I knew some of these things when I stared a couple a years ago. Life goes on ,we live and learn.
The greatest part about this for you is that you have the opportunity to not repeat some of my mistakes.
Be patient with yourself
I said it earlier and I will say it again “don’t rush the process.” I have 200 plus people following my blog but it took time
. If you keep at it you will experience your breakthrough.
(57% of marketers say they’ve gained customers specifically through blogging Source optin Monster)
I know I told you not to take it serious and don’t get in it to make money however the statistics below show there is a big opportunity for money to be made .
Don’t compare your writing skills
Everyone learns and grows at a different pace .One of the worst things you can do Is compare yourself with other bloggers .
Doing so takes away from you have accomplished.
