My  pen is on fire right now .

 

 You can imagine what  This post is going to be like .

 

To make a long story short I am going to pack this article with social media tips for small businesses.

 

I am going to help you get a foothold so that you can prosper.

 

You need the inspiration to know that you can do it .

 

The playing field is even on social media 

 

 

Hard work and effort plays a major part.

 

You do not need a big budget and I am going to show you why .

Skill sets are the most important aspects of life

 

You will not get paid for what you don’t do You get paid for what you produce.

 

That is how society rewards you .

 

If you had the skills to assemble a team together to do a construction project and you got  it done on time and on budget that would be terrific.

 

In this case you have achieved your goal indirectly .

 

You do not have to be a mason but you can inspire and organize yourself so that things run smoothly.

 

I am a business owner myself so I have had to navigate the waters .

 

I know what it is like filtering people to see who is a good fit to be a client .

 

I have heard and seen lots of shit .

 

And trust me  the customer service is of the utmost importance but keep in mind some people like to shuck and jive. 

 

Luckily I have found methods to weed out people 

 

 

Some people are headaches and I would rather  not serve them.

 

Some people cannot afford my prices  is any way and that is  good for because  I have a  target audience.

 

If you try and  market to everybody you market  you market to nobody.

 

As a Small business you  can thrive if you  are nimble ,innovative and customer orientated.

 

Nothing beats strategy consistency execution and hard work though.

 

You do not need a budget to contend in the social media world .

 

However you do need drive and focus and a listening ear so that you can listen to the customer and give them detailed solutions 

 

Solutions put money in the bank .Do it consistently so over time you can earn income.

 

Everybody that I know that shops does it for specific reasons.

 

Some people buy off of impulse, some people buy based on emotion.

 

Part of your job is to channel that energy down your pipeline so that you can capitalize.

 

Sooner or later you will make sales and Win people’s attention.

 

Be more  persistent with the value.

 

In other words day in and day out you should be on deck to answer and provide .

 

People love to be listened to and feel like they are being appreciated otherwise they will go elsewhere

 

My goal is to get you to place where you are comfortable answering questions even if you don’t make the sale .

 

There will always be tire kickers around ,there is no doubt about that .

 

But there are people on the internet willing to listen and buy from you.

 

But you have to build that authority day by day .

 

It will not happen overnight but it will happen soon enough .

 

For some strange reason I love being in a saturated market because it gives me the opportunity to cut through the noise 

 

I am not saying that you should jump in the deep end of the pool either 

 

You can always find a sub niche  with less competitors .

 

Less competition does not mean you do not have to work your but off.

 

Some businesses and marketers might not niche down, some will.

 

There is no escaping the reality of  hard work .

 

You have to put in the time and effort to build your brand so that you can hire supporting cast .

 

You want to be able to grow and delegate task which helps  free up your time to do other things .

 

Without the effort and consistency you’d be lucky to be successful.

 

Yes strategy plays apart too.

 

Be very strategic and innovative too.

 

I like using the word innovation because I like the idea of exploring and being creative.

 

If you do not test and tweak i,invest in  new products, services and techniques you will not grow.

 

Plus Peoples Social media habits  changes on a daily basis 

 

Hence why you have to be a listener while at the same time be ready to pounce .

 

Opportunity does not always knock so you have to be on deck and ready to exploit .

 

No one on social media grew without learning,testing and strategically trying to find new ways to move forward.

 

Everything that we do has risk associated with it.

 

Sitting still is a risk .

 

People like to associate risk with the decisions that they make which is true .

 

Like how some folk believe in job security .

 

Knowing full well there are boundaries and rules you  have to abide by in your place of work.

 

Knowing you are salary capped and restricted.

 

Knowing Redundancies are being made left right and center.

 

You are given a certain amount of sick days and vacation days .

 

They tell you when to go for lunch and tea breaks.

 

I mean to each is own but I would rather take the risk of learning new skillsets for my personal benefits .

 

When you upgrade your skillsets you increase  your ability to earn more.

 

An Investment in yourself is the best investment .

 

Many of us are not marketing professionally .

 

We want successful online businesses yet we go along casually expecting to get big results .

 

Shit does not work that way so my advice to you is to get busy.

 

Cast Aside the  fear ,as a matter of fact do not get sucked in by the gimmicks .

 

No one’s coaching program is going to get you results .

 

I see marketers blowing money on program after program only not to get results.

 

Every marketer including me wants to make sales.

 

One thing I do know for sure is that I have to keep applying myself .

 

The skills I am learning and applying like blogging , answering questions.are just a few ways to get indirect sales.

 

We have to get busier applying .I am on social media every day  .

 

Patience is skillset too.

 

We are in a hurry to make the sale .

 

The places where our  attention and energy should go we sometimes overlook or  ignore .

 

You shouldn’t be ignoring the patterns of your audiences. 

 

Remember people control their own .

 

In other words people are going to make a decision to buy or not buy

 

Get that In your head .

 

Please do not forget .

 

Yes it’s obvious but then again it’s not so obvious despite it being in our faces.

 

 

 

Why do we still insist on ignoring it ?

 

Are we not willing to face the facts that we are have to put in the work ?

 

It doesn’t matter what I teach you ,if you do not apply yourself my teaching will not help you .

 

Everybody seems to be the coach that will change things around for you .

 

And That is usually not the case .

 

Attitude 

Action

Work

Strategy

Consistency

 

Will get you positive results.

 

There is no magic pills or anything like that needed.

 

You have to dedicate yourself and believe in yourself.

 

Put in the work everyday like it is your last.

 

The extra effort is going to pay off.

 

Every question answered,every piece of content shared that brings value to the people plays to your advantage .

 

Trust me I am heavy on social media 

 

Build awareness each and everyday .

 

So if you are willing, you will succeed .

 

The fancy adverts and products is not enough to get you repeat sales.

 

Repeat customers are like brand advocates.

 

Word of mouth is free advertising.

 

That is what takes place when you have loyal  your custcustomers.Let your customers do the indirect advertising for you .

The best thing about this is that you do not have to ask .

All you have to do is deliver top class service .

A happy customer is like cash in the bank .

Once you start looking at business as a relationship things will change .

I know that being your own boss is a form of Independence .

However We might have to understand that satisfying the customer is a must .

Without Clients how would your company survive ?

Oh and by the way entrepreneurship doesn’t mean you have the green light to treat people any pictures old way .

 

Keep that in mind moving forward.

Be Genuine

Think long-term .I know that you need money to survive .With that being said you cannot allow yourself to be sales centered. Be truthful with people and they will trust you .

Be unique 

Do not be corny with people .Be forthcoming and solution driven .Lastly be human orientated.

 

Show up everyday 

Consistency pays off .The more you show up with something of value the better for your brand .

 

Be authentic

Do not potray to be who you are not because people will pick up on it and cut you off.

 

 

Be innovative

Try new and different things .Invest into research and development .Research is an important part of business growth

 

 

Do not be afraid to lose 

You cannot be successful in business if you are not willing to take the occasional loss. The main thing is to learn and keep moving forward.

If the fear of loosing money controls you there is no way you can grow .

Profit losses are not always a bad thing especially when you are investing all your earnings back into the business for growth like Jeff Bezzos did.

 

 

Stand out

Remember you and I are not the only ones with products .Everybody has discounts and nice product features.

If we want to win ,we have to demonstrate why our services are the best .

And We  do that by giving them quality service and viable solutions .

And do not be afraid to refer people to another retailer or “competitor” if you do not have the answer.

 

Think big ,think business .

And  the work that goes on behind the scenes is usually not pretty but the results are.

Business is universal not a one way street.Net income is important but not as important as delivering the quality service that people need.

 

People will always remember how you make them feel.Make them feel appreciated and loved.

Create a business friendly atmosphere and do not be rigid and regimental.

Even the colors and decorations  that you have inside and outside your establishment influence or deter.

Cherrish every customer like it is your last day on Earth .No one deserves to be treated like shit.

And when customers handle you like shit there are boundaries and protocol in place to curve and contain that.

You do not have to convince people directly you do that indirectly with content and solutions .
