Things you can do whilst not making sales 

 

There are strategies you can implement to help increase your chances of making sales .

 

Sales is another name for revenue and without it it would be almost impossible to pay off debts  buy inventory . You can borrow money but who is going to lend you money without you having a defined plan and proof of concept .

 

To make a long story short we are going learn tips that you can apply that will help you obtain clients and make sales in the future .

We have to do this the most logical way possible without you losing your entire savings .

 

I see people asking people should they quit their jobs to pursue a full time business.

 

There are people that have quit their full time job to start their own business.

 

If you do not have income coming in to sustain you why put yourself at risk like that ?

 

I know that you want to be your own boss but it takes time to build a reputable  brand.

You can always use your job  money to invest in your business whilst you build up good credit so that you can borrow or get angel investors .

 

Remember not all businesses are profitable with in the first few years .Amazon was not profitable in their early years of operation .

 

So you want to make sure that you have a nest egg to sustain you while you build your establishment .

 

Daymond John held on to his job when he first started building fubu .

 

Once your business grows To a point where it can sustain you meaning all your operating expenses and expenditures and wages are covered you can make the step .

 

There are people buying and selling based on emotions .

 

There are people in the marketing world that would push their products on you just to get a buck . 

 

I have seen people get burned for  making irrational business decisions including myself.

 

Do not overthink  when it is time to execute but do not move hastily at other people’s leisure .

 

People will promise you the world .”My product or Coaching program does this that etc” 

 

You can come across the best business opportunity in the world but if you are not financially prepared or financially aware as to what you can do to leverage you will be lost. 

 

And when you do put yourself in the hole and cannot meet your debt obligations no one is going to help you because Creditors want their money

 

So build in phases if you have to .You can always find investors or co founders to help get your business off of the ground .

 

Even if you are a solopreneur you can find angel investors .

 

  This is just one aspect of the scenario that I am sharing with you .

 

The next phase is going to be more geared towards tips and advice that you can use to build a customer base and  brand loyalty.

 

Having the money is not the most important it is having the skill sets and applying yourself .

 

  And that is what lots of people do not realize .

 

Some people have a little startup money but don’t have the attitude or skill sets to land contracts and investors and networking partners .

 

There is a lot to this . 

 

In the meantime whilst you build your business you should be applying yourself .

 

And what do I mean by that .

 

I mean building relationships ,giving people solutions to their problems ,networking ,sharing content 

 

 

All of what I mentioned above opens the doors for multiple sales transactions on the back end .

 

People get into business and think they can sell sell sell .

 

You can sell but the most important aspect of business is to sell value .

 

So what do I mean .

 

Value has more to do with solutions provided more than anything else .

 

People want products but more importantly  they want a solution .

 

Remember solutions are what make you money.

 

Lead with detailed solutions .Look in the market and exploit the gaps .

 

There are people with needs in every market .

 

Your job is to pinpoint those issues and put your finger on their pulse 

 

This is what I like to call reverse engineering where as your business is built around solutions for the people .

 

I mean if you are relatively new and lead with the sale of products and services like I once did you will have a hard time making a single sale.

 

I see marketers get on  Instagram and market their products from day one .

 

They do not take into account the way people feel about being spammed.

 

They are not looking at their low engagement rates.

 

Once you are getting engagement you have the opportunity to present your products and services .

 

But if you don’t have a following and also if you don’t have the trust of the people you would be lucky to make sales.

 

 Another thing that gets me is when people say they are waiting to launch their website or products before they start promoting which is backwards .

 

Build awareness first to help break down the people’s resistance so by the time you are ready to launch you would be in a much better position to sell .

 

So the time is now being spent inching you closer to your goals which is to sell .

 

And if that is your goal, why not get into action sooner than later ?

 

All this right here is going to help you establish yourself 

 

You will catch a lot of your competitors  by surprise too .

 

Some will think that you came out of the blue and did it.

 

In reality, you know that it took patience and dedication to do it .

 

There is no overnight success stories.

 

Now before we go through the bullet points let’s figure out why you are business.

 

If you were to ask 10 people why they want to start their own business aleast 70% or more will say to be rich .

 

I like to think otherwise .

 

  1. solve 
  2. serve

No one gives  two shits about you me or anyone else wanting to get rich .

 

People want to know what you can do for them.

 

So if you are not getting into business to solve or benefit the end consumer in some way get the hell out .

 

If you serve and solve you will not have an issue getting rich .

 

However ,do not make your products and price points a priority over the needs of your market .

 

Become less selfish and more giving in this particular situation.

 

Yes there are tire kickers and people that are unappreciative and that is part of running a business .

 

Are you in for the Long haul or what ?

 

Are you in business to make the life of the people easier ?

 

Businesses that are more people orientated tend to prosper.

 

So  therefore I am urging you not to lead with your products .

 

When no one knows you it is hard to make sales .

 

Some people think that they can put money behind an ad and make sales instantly .

 

The amount of money that you would have to throw behind an ad just to get it seen compared to the return you might get might not be feasible because no one knows who you are .

 

You might think that pushing your products and services is going to get you more eyeballs and sales w.

 

In actuality you will push people away .

 

The way we promote and engage as a whole has changed.

 

People come on social media to socialize and be entertained .

 

So in essence your direct promotional post are a distraction ,they don’t add value to the consumer .

 

Value value should be the main  priority.

 

It is selfish and counterproductive to make it about you you you .

 

You need to bring balance .

 

Bringing balance in business means giving and asking not just asking .

 

Let’s go over a few tips 

 

  • Outline a plan

You should be clear and descriptive as to who you want to serve in the market and if not you can get feed back from the market.

 

  • Invest in yourself 

Starting a business is more than being “your own boss” You can never learn enough .You can always learn new skill sets which will be an asset to you .

 

  •  Strategize 

 Hard work is important .Strategizing is like figuring out faster and better ways to complete task .Do your research .

Conclusion
Your biggest asset is your mind and the people in your market is a precious commodity .

Remember to focus on serving the needs of the people and you will make tons of money
