Entrepreneurial journey business money

Besides consistency what keeps you patient during your entrepreneurial journey ?

Business ownership is a responsibility .

There is more to entrepreneurship. than what’s  listed below

  • sales
  • inventory
  • payroll
  • taxes
  • legal issues
  • capitalization
  • funded debt

The journey gets rough sometimes and those of us willing to ride it out will succeed.

You can’t get into business thinking you are automatically going to be profitable or the most sought after leader in your industry.

People come in motivated until they realize how much work is required to attain financial freedom.

I will say The journey is worth it but that’s my opinion

.You might here me say that a few times in this post today  .

I know your outlook is different from mines as we all have different definitions of entrepreneurship.

This is the first thing you should remember

  • No one owes me you or anyone else anything.

  • Entrepreneurship is about service value and perspectives

Which means your attitude and skillsets are the most important components.

Some people want to make a million dollars in their first year however wanting to get rich is not a good  enough motive .

Money is a tool not a priority and In reality everyone is making money including

  • employees
  • managers
  • CEO
  • investors

But it is he and she with the  discipline to grow and maintain their money who succeeds ?

People get into business thinking that they are entitled .

You are not entitled, you have to fight innovate learn, fail.

If you are not willing to suffer losses and face rejection entrepreneurship is not for you .

I am sure you love closing big deals, raising capital but nothing is more refreshing than knowing you are serving a good purpose.

My purpose is meeting the demands and needs of people that are being neglected.

Business is give and take so when I interact with people I do it  without the expectation of making a  sale .

Eventually the big deals and endorsements will come but remember t Entrepreneurship is a journey .

On this journey you never know what the next day might bring .

For example look at  the pandemic .

Businesses have been forced to be innovative just to stay alive and some foreclosed  .

Who would have imagined Restaurants and gyms being forced to shut down .

With that being said The path to financial freedom is not all Roses.

Economic freedom isn’t for every body hence why some choose employment and employee benefits.

Just because we are business owners doesn’t mean we are better than the next person.

It doesn’t mean those seeking jobs are all fininacially illiterate because at  the end of the day it’s the working class   that patronize businesses.

Without them you wouldn’t make money.

The first thing you should know about the entrepreneurship journey is that it’s not a get rich quick scheme .

My mind has been conditioned to think longterm in terms of earning and  building a large customer base.

My short- term thinking in business is as follows

  • Show up consistently

  • Build relationships

  • Build brand awareness

  • Build Trust

Money shouldn’t be your primary focus .

Yes you should want to make money as any person in business sets out to do but you must also  have a passion and skillsets and solutions.

You can’t allow what others in your niche are accomplishing to side track you because then you start second guessing yourself .

Patience plays a big part in the role of your success .

Attitude is a driving force behind success too .

As entrepreneurs we are servants not just business owners.

  • Years
  • Days
  • Months
  • Weeks

  • Hours Of testing is requirement on your part

There are times during this journey that you’ll question yourself .

You might say things like ” is  it worth it ” or “why am I doing this ?”

The thing you need not to do is use money as a measure of success especially if you are just starting out .

I would say measure your success based on the value and actions that you are taking to grow your brand.

Not everything is about the money.

Enjoyment and passion drives me to do what I do day in day out .

If money was my primary focus I wouldn’t be active today .

Money gjves you fuel but fuel burns out so discipline and habits help shape the results you wish to desire .

A person that gets into business thinking they can make one million dollars in their first year isn’t going to be in  business very long .

This doesn’t mean wanting to get rich is a bad thing it simply means you should prioritize in order of importance.

The top priority is  People and  Value .

Marc Zuckerberg said something valuablethat stuck with me :

Think of a need or a solution that needs to be met then come to the market.

In business you have to think of people , so therefore it’s best to lead with substance.

When you come to the market with substance you are positioning yourself for opportunity.

Having a strong valid reason why your in business gives you a guide and direction .

Your reason why is going to inspire you to push on when during  depressio .

My attitude and willpower to endure is unstoppable .

Yes  I value money but me simply wanting to make money is not  going to fatten up my bank account.

You have to be patient with yourself and  Never get complacent or  take people for granted .

Do understand that there will be times when profit margins are broad and there will also be times when sales dip .

The trick is to focus on innovation and people as a direct way to achieve your sales goals .

Yes  Get ready to face harsh criticism and push  .

People will go beyond great measures to tear you down  .

I have learned to be more patient and value driven over the years  .

I tend not to focus on competition andbut rather learn from them and innovate my services so that I can better serve the needs of people .

Learning from your competitors is important but you don’t have to directly compete .

As long as you make people a priority and show a willingness to listen your journey will run a lot smoother .

Conclusion

Like life entrepreneurship is a journey not a destination .Be patient with your process , take time to regroup and or reorganize if need be .
