What Is your definition of leadership.
Every leader that has influenced positive change hasn’t made it about theirselves.
I know it’s easy to get caught up into the web of ego . Keep your ego in check. Not every one is built to lead but I think every human has the capabilities to do it .Not everyone has the desires or courage but we all lead naturally ,it’s just that some of us don’t realize .
There are people out there that know they can get in front of people and rally them but to do what ? If you are not guiding people in the right direction leadership is not for you . Fall back .
What you don’t know is that you can automatically get peoples attention .
You already have the influence and could exert even more by doing the right thing . Leadership gives some people a false sense of success .
You are only as good as the people you inspire around you . To do anything else is in vain. It takes courage to stand out and lead . Make up your mind what you want to do and do it . If you have some bad intentions don’t follow through.

What you don’t want to do is upset people especially the ones following you . Once you upset them you are in trouble . Not every one is as wise or intelligent as you might be but don’t play people for a fool . Like these people trying to “fake it until they make it .” If you are faking the funk you are not being real .
Any person that is not honest with themselves doesn’t want accountability they want power to control . It doesn’t mean you won’t face criticism or difficulty .
Every test you face is preparation and a testimony .So yes leaders face difficulty just like the average person .
This is why I don’t pretend things are a certain way when they aren’t. Mind you I am not going to complain or play victim but I will speak the truth.
keeping things bottled up is never healthy. You have to find some way to vent it out before things get to a boiling point .
Every obstacle you face is a test. I got a little frustrated last week over something simple but I didn’t explode .
In my mind I was being attacked personally but I wasn’t the only one this was happening to .
This is why I don’t take everything personal . It’ can get dangerous when you start thinking that it’s just you.
I believe in honesty and I know it takes you a long way . Sometimes being honest can put you in the worst positions .
Living in denial gives people the illusion of hope . It gives them the sense of accomplishment. You can influence people easily but can you influence them in the right direction. I have seen people allow their position to get in their heads.
What I mean is that people get in positions and start ego tripping . If you are not leading for the right reasons soon enough you will get exposed. Some people see leadership as a title or position but it’s not, leadership is a responsibility.
Remember whilst you are in that position people will trust and distrust you so why do anything to cause people to distrust you more ? Why not earn their trust?
I have seen people humble as ever then get the position they want and switch up on the world. Coward.shit .
People have got to stop falling for the okie Doke all the time . The People that get in position of authority and abuse it are self centered. They lack vision and empathy.
You have to remember it is the people that put you in position. They are the ones voting for you or promoting you.
When you get in position then neglect the people that believed in you and help put you there that Is stupid.
The best leaders in the world Like Warren Buffett, Elon Mosk ,Michael Jordan to name a few incorporate others . To me you are not a leader until you have been tested and inspired others .
They understand to be successful you have to inspire educate or give value.
The mindset of successful people is different from the selfish ones in authority .
Leaders influence positive change . Wanna be leaders like to control dominate and manipulate.
They make it all about themselves.
They like being in the lime light . People like Warren Buffett has the media chasing them around.
Good Leaders get work done behind the scenes and on the frontline if need be . They focus in on the people, the work and
Business leaders , Political leaders , Team leaders Which ever field or sport you are in all good leaders have something in common ,they inspire greatness in others .
What I am saying is you have to involve others . I have seen people make a 360 ,Make all the promises in the world but don’t deliver .
That is like saying you are a good striker but you don’t score goals. You have to deliver not just for yourself but for your team and your community . It doesn’t matter what position you are in if you are not impacting lives you aren’t doing shit ?
Getting yourself in position of authority is one thing but being able to uplift the people around you is totally different. When you walk like a leader there is no need to boast because your actions will show .
Let me get something straight with you .When I speak I don’t pull any punches or sugar coat anything . I want people to learn and the best way for me to do that is to be honest . I don’t mind receiving the backlash . When you speak the truth people get uncomfortable.
We need the truth because far too many of us are walking around misleading thinking it’s cool. The same people misleading people get insecure when people like myself speak the truth.
Mind you we all have insecurities but we can’t allow them to get the best of us. Instead of getting upset with someone for saying something that goes against our belief we can look at ourselves and correct what needs to be adjusted. Don allow your ego to guilt you into thinking you are too big for change.
Without your willingness to change you cannot grow as a person. If you are not willing to change as an individual why would you want to lead others . That is a big problem , people want the glory but not the work.
I know it’s easier said than done but guess what…. it has to be done. It’s either you do it and change or don’t do it at all . But don’t mislead people not only is it a waste of energy it will tarnish your reputation . Even me I have to be mindful of how I conduct myself in public.
I cannot afford to slip.up because people will talk shit . I can live with making mistakes how ever I am not going to act the fool in public . People are waiting for me to act the ass .
Remember leadership is an example and what you do in the dark comes out in the light . No matter if you fool people today, tomorrow or days after you will get exposed .
The people you deceive will awaken at some point in time . And when they do wake up all fingers will be pointing at you . Do you really want that ?
Here’s two options
A Walk with integrity
B Take advantage of peoples trust
I cannot fathom myself depriving person of knowledge and inspiration .
I believe in karma and when things run down hill you will be the only one facing it . Remember we reap what we sow . Do good not just to gain peoples trust but because it’s morally just . People are more likely to trust honest reliable people even when they are wrong .
I will take an honest person that admits his /her wrong over a person that’s deceptive. With the honest person you know exactly what your getting. The dishonest person Is tricky and you would have to keep a close eye on them .
Think about this these lessons the next time you decide you want to take advantage of people . People grow tired and when they have had enough it’s too late .
Some people are quite,they would let you think you are getting away with something then surprise you . Do the right thing . Do not take people for granted . Do not let accomplishment get you into power tripping. You might win a few battles here and there but you wouldn’t win the war .
Lead for the people not for yourself You have to guide your troops. As leader you have to make sure that peoples needs are being met And if not hit the road Jack. Life is precious so make every minute count .
If you can’t appreciate or value time step aside and let some on else lead . Respect peoples time .
Life is is too short for the bull shit . Take responsibility and ownership of your doings.
That is what leaders do. You own the good and bad that you do. Leaders step up in the face of difficulty . You are not in position to run from your problems however I do advise you choose your battles wisely.
Don’t be afraid to ask question and get feed back. Being in a position of authority doesn’t mean you aren’t supposed to show vulnerabilities because we all have them .
People like connecting with people they can relate to on some levels .
People that are going through hardship aren’t going to feel comfortable expressing themselves in front of you if you aren’t relatable.
I am a relatable person,my life is an open book, in other words the public knows about me . So when I speak I do so from my heart mind soul and experience.
Things are alot better these days but I am not going to play like I don’t have any issues. I think as leaders we shouldn’t be ashamed of facing challenges. Every challenge we face and overcome is testimony of what we have endured .
Turmoil builds character. Use the hard times as evidence and stepping stones . This is why I have such a powerful story . Embrace your trials and tribulations .
Don’t be ashamed of your past . We all have a history and don’t worry about people walking around like they haven’t made mistakes .
Let your light shine .No one can dim your lights unless you allow them to.
No you don’t have to be on the frontline to get attention results will get you all you need .
