There are times when I find it hard to find news worthy story lines to write about.

There is nothing noble in being superior to your fellow man; true nobility is being superior to your former self
Some times On the occasion I overthink .
Luckily there are tools and search techniques that I use that might be helpful to you .
Some of the straegies I use might surprise you a bit,some might make you luaugh .
Never the less enjoy the ride with me.
Now this is where things get interesting because you do not have to start a post with a headline. First we must get one thing clear (the idea gives you the basis to build your story upon)
I came up with todays topic while searching the term. “blogging “on twitter .
Any how upon searching I saw a gap that needed to be filled. People were asking questions so I answered and replied to members of the tribe .
Before I proceed any further let me share a valuable piece of advice with you .

Now It is Time to spring into action so pay attention !
See , a lot of times we think and feel a certain way about certain topics because we are deeply concerned about readers views subscribers.
We have so much fear of losing readers that we are willing to tow the line.

All of that is fine and dandy but there needs to be checks and blances.Like when do you decide to cover sensitive issues ?
Certain subjects carry strong public opinion and hot debates .
The “hot” subjects will send a short sharp jolt of traffic to your site.
On another note You will be under the microscope whether your opinion is positive or negative.
But aren’t we on social media for attention ?
How many journalist have been kidnapped murdered ?
Now offcourse this is a bit extreem but true.
Stay with me while I share my personal tips to finding topics .
listening to talk shows ministers,motivational,speakers is very useful.
The rumor mill is another good source to tap into.
Now…you do not have to entertain or indulge in verbal warfare directly or indirectly to bebefit .
But be you be respectful and add your twist to the turn of events.
I know that I mentioned the word “sensetive ” a few times So here is a list of sensitive subjects down below!
- religion
- Race
- Politics
- Sexism
- Economy
Each of the above Commands a high level of debate and attention.
Most of the people that I know that follow these stories are quick to respond and engage in debate .
So yes I will say it again
- Race
- Religion
- The Economy
- Politics
Command attention and if you can find a unique angle to cover any one you can win.
There have been wars protest in the name of relgion and politics .
However A lot of bloggers prefer not to cover these kinds of stories but the content creators that do comnand attention .
Check Guy kawasaki. He tweets about Donald trump and other political related matters.
Be mindful and Think carefully about what I said the next time you need something to write about.
Coming up ideas is not complex but I think we make it harder on ourselves .
This does not mean that we will not face writers block again.
It means that You have to be innovative and trust your imagination.
For instance I once read about a blogger that runs in parks with music playing to help him come up with ideas .
Totally out of the box thinking . Go against the grain sometimes.
It pays off !
Believe me .Some of your wildest ideas can trurn out to be the best .
The imagination has no limit but what it comes down to is being able to build a bridge to Connect a story with your readers on an intimate level.
The lesson to learn here are to unleash ,unwind, do not compress your thoughts .Stay open minded
Now me I use different tactics .
Sometimes I listen to music sometimes I scan news headlines and it works .
Other times I write on the spot.The moment you feel the vibe you should start drafting.
Reading has helped me too .
To me the artform is universal ,there are no limititations .
s a writer you need to give your thoughts a chance to bear fruit.
Even if what you are brainstorming is boring keep writing until you build momentum .
Once you get going you hardly ever want to stop because of the feeling and floetry.
So listen to that still voice inside of you and then let that still voice light a spark .
I cannot tell you how many times I have written post based on my feelings .
Some of the random on the spot post I wrote turned out to be the best and not because they went viral more so the satisfaction that I got out of it.
Sometimes you have to give your mind free reign instead of making things more complicated for yourself.
I deas come ideas go so you have to capture the moment .
The moment the thought comes to mind unleash.
This gives More reason for you to have your notepad handy.
You can be on a commute, the train station at a restaurant a sporting event and something can pop up.
You just cannot predict the time or place of these ideas .
You have to test and tweak different methods to see what inspires you and what doesn’t .
There are no definitive ways of figuring this out .
Use your imagination to bail you out.There will be times when you find multiple topics to blog about but you are just not feeling inspired to write about them.
When you get to a place and point that feels like you have exhausted all your avenues take a deep breath relax.
This might mean switching up environments.One week you feel inspired to write out of the comfort of your home the following week you might feel like sitting on the shore line.
Feelings (emotions) can sometimes dictate how or where the conversation might lead.
But you never know on any given day what idea or technique to use.
Yes as writers we plan research but by the time we start writing the thought process changes.
That is the reality we face as bloggers .
Note that there is no trick used in finding things to write about .
Do not get me wrong because there are techniques and strategies we are unaware of that can improve the process.
The beautiful part of blogging is that the methodologies used are not predictable.
Nothing like a journalist that covers public world wide events publicly known and viewed on news mediums
I made the above statement to shed light on the issue we are discussing not to take shots .
We have the ability to pick choose any medium or story we want.
As bloggers we have the free reign to invent, test out different formulas.
There is no limit or word count that we must ascribe to although I think longer post out rank the shorter ones.
So we have an advantage in that we have the leisure and pleasure of setting unique schedules.
Our fellow journalist have a different regime .Mostly every time world or local events are on they are out and about documenting interviewing.
We interview customers, industry experts, host podcast so while our formulas are different there are similarities.
I have yet to start interviwing people in my industry yet but I need to start doing it .
I can use the information attained in my interview as a means to do a statistical post.
I love having the ability and freedom to choose as I will
However there is one thing that bloggers should do.
And that one thing is to write articles that match the needs of specific audiences.
As long as we produce elative and useful content the game is on.

I am in love with the fact that I can search , ask questions ,get answers.

Mind you this is not a new method but one that can harverst good results.
After all we are not writing just for the sake of it. for all the hustle and bustle involved our aim is to get a return on investment.
Hours upon hours goes into formulating good blog post.
So we must get a good return .
After all the hard work is done to find search what we need we deserve to position ourselves to be compensated for the work.
Respect the craft be as artistic as you can .
I have had sobering experiences as a writer some that I will never forget.
The support, the drive ,the passion that I see and feel is feeling of joy .
There is no other time in history that we have been able to connect globally twenty four seven without having to host a conference call or fly out.
I am so thankful for the channels that have opened up and want to thank the content creators that have gone before me.
So again I say thank you.
Never thought I would ever fall in love with writing .Getting to learn from people from all walks of life .
There are writers like Seth Godin that inspire me today to want to learn more .
Seths writing style is unique very unorthodox and creative.
Find your space . As a person you should know what gets you going when times are dark and grey.
Use your experinces to ignite the fire inside of you .

Content marketers never cease to amaze me.I love reading blogs getting a sense of a feel of what is going on
I love drafting up post then copying and pasting from my note pad to my blog then editing.
The work leading up to the finished product is well worth it.
I have a tribe of people that believe in me not to mention that i whole heartedly believe in myself.
Blogging is what I love doing as a means to outreach to different segments of the population
This affords me the opportunity to impact lives which I am so greatful for to this date.
Remember you can achieve any dream you want to regardless of what people say think or do.
In final closing remarks I want you to have fun make the most of the opportunities and do not stress.
As long as you are consistently having fun there is not much else you can ask for.
You do not have too look at blogging as a job to get longevity out of it.
View it as a full time hobby that you love so that everytime you are ready to produce you are feeling refreshed and energized.
