Giving Career advice during a pandemic ?
Not a tricky issue but one to give deep thought about.
The advice that I am giving you is not your typical career advice .
The pandemic taught me some tough valuable lessons .
When the pandemic hit you lost your job and forfeited your Mortgage and rent .
Even if you did work the events that taking place should be alarming.
I endured some hardship throughout the pandemic too
The whole world felt the crunch .
Some businesses had more liquid than others so they were able to absorb more .
I know for fact employees are being made redundant.
Here down below I gave 2 pieces of valuable advice
Invest your money and let it work for you
Upgrade your skillsets and use them to earn more
I am preparing you with the skills and tools that you need.
There greatest investment you can make is an investment in yourself.
Do you agree or disagree?
I learned lot throughout this pandemic having faced hardship .
Ok so the pandemic hit and caught many of us off guard .
Right now as we speak England has gone into lockdown.
Before the rise of this pandemic a lot of you had jobs.
Things were going well, as far as money which enabled you to take vacation go out on dinner dates etc ..
You was accustomed to living a lavish lifestyle unto the harsh reality that the Corona virus has caused economically .
Neither of us was thinking that this is where we would be in 2020.

A lot of businesses have folded, giant Companies like Digicel down sizing and restructuring to stay afloat.
The pandemic hit alot of us hard .
People stared working from home remotely which means building owners took in less rents .
Gym owners , Restaurant owners, Construction owners , Retail outlets, Taxi operators ,Bus drivers Landscapers took a hit when I even insurance companies felt the pjnch .
If anything this should have taught us to be more vigilant and resilient .
Things are getting back to normal slowly but there is a strong possibility of a second wave of the Corona virus coming .
With that in mind now is the time to be learning and executing new skillsets.
Was you one of those people that was out of work ?Did you have to rely on Government stimulus checks to survive?
Would you have survived if you was not receiving Government Stimulus Checks ?
If I was you I would sharpen my skillsets regardless if you were working through out the pandemic or not .
You never know when your boss might have to declare bankruptcy.
Never get comfortable where you are .
Let this pandemic be a stark reminder .
I know some of you might not take heed and sharpen up your skillsets but I sure will.
There are many opportunities out here.
Example: Say you learn search engine optimization you can work remotely anywhere with your laptop to service clients .
Uf your skillsets are limited you will find yourself in a bind again should disaster strike .
You have to prepare yourself for another worldwide shut down because this whole pandemic was orchestrated .
I really want you to think about what was running through your mind when the pandemic hit.
Did you panic ?
Did you think that your savings would dwindle to nothing ?
Some people had to tap into their pensions to pay bills.
And If you noticed online buying skyrocketed .
Online activity increased across the board.
People were hosting zoom meetings and virtual exercise courses etc .
No virus can stop socialmedia activity from taking place.
Essential businesses were blooming throughout .
The war is far from over .
Go hard and posittion yourself For the next go around .

There is no reason why you can’t brush up on your skills .
Stay ahead of the game.
You saw the job market and business market crash come to a screeching adult when this pandemic hit.
An Economic depressions will come back again at some point in time.
Brushing on your resume Is good if your seeking employment however that shouldn’t be your only plan.
The job market is shrinking so it’s time to carve out a niche for yourself.
You need an Avenue to generate income on your own .
I applaud people with degrees but a degree will not save you when businesses are foreclosing and the economic crunch is on .
There are opportunities that you can tap into right now . The only way to take advantage of these opportunities is to be ready .
And Like I Said earlier none of us were prepared for the casualties and economic meltdown that took place in 2020 .
Some say it has been a tough year which I agree, more importantly it has been a year that we should learn from and remember the economic impact the pandemic brought upon us .
Brush up on our skillsets but also be more prudent and frugal money .
I have noticed that a lot of people have reverted back to their old ways .
You don’t have to be the person struggling when the next crisis hits.
Be the person that is equipped and ready.
There is nothing wrong with updating your resume but society rewards you based on your skillsets.
If you haven’t upgraded your skillsets how do you expect to earn more ?
Any career path you choose you should become knowledgeable and valuable .
Some one is out there right now launching that new business studying that exam to get certified.
I tell people that are looking for jobs go right to the place fill out the application then ask are they employing immediately after.
So if you are asked have you filled out the application your answer is and yes.
Conclusion
There is no better time to start preparing yourself like now .For those of us that learned valuable lessons and are testing and learning we are weather the next economic stirm
What has this pandemic taught you?
