This is a greay day .I feel honored to be hosting you today. Today I feel lead to talk about having the desire to achieve goals nothing more nothing less.

Each and everyone one of you have a gift (talent) expertise of some sought.In my  38 years of life I have seen my fair share of multi talented people and It doesn’t look like I will stop seeing them anytime soon.

Today  I am going  to help you to give birth to your dreams so that you can start experiencing bigger and better things in life.

Let’s talk about talent first.

Talent alone is not the most important aspect of being successful .You have to consider the time and effort that it takes to turn dreams into reality.

I have seen people in my path that have the greatest abilities to do  things but lack the work ethic to get things done.

Some of it is do with their  ego ,some of it comes from being complacent, feeling  as if they are  sitting on top of the world.

You need to surround yourself with positive people that hold you accountable not people  that stroke your ego at all cost.In most cases when you see people stroking  an ego they are  the ones that will  hold you back anyways because they aren’t driven to succeed.

This is done to keep you blind ,give you a false sense of entitlement while shaping and molding you to  feel as if you have arrived.

Reality hits really hard , you me or anyone else can come crashing down in a heart-beat so we must be wise enough to recognize .

So do you really want it nothing more nothing less ?

You can be the dopest most skilled person in the world but if you don’t put in the time you will not  smash your target goals.

That is the bottom line.Look at Michael Jordan when he was told that he wasn’t a good enough basketball player.He had to go back to the drawing board and  work on his game.He didn’t sulk and give up,he took the lesson and used it as a stepping stone.At the end of it all ,look how he turned out to be the greatest of alltime.

I have seen far too many gifted people fall by the way-side ,so now is my time to hammer my point home.

If you are  reading this post  I urge you to take control of your life ,fix your attitude and get your butt to work.

Don’t be a victim of your circumstances ,be a product of the great works that you perform because you will

• sweat
• face doubt
•  face opposition

Despite all the turmoil that you might  face you will come out roaring like a lion.It is your time to shine,be a leader that practices what you preach.

Be prepared to get into the trenches and get dirty.Put in the work now ,go through the furnace so later on when you are reaping  rewards ten fold  you will be thanking me.

Pay careful attention to what I have to say  In the list below otherwise  you will not get the meat of this article.

Be mindful of the company you keep

Show me your company and that will tell me who you are. Just look in the night clubs and you will see people that go day in day out  without  fail.What habits can you  pick up in the pub other than drinking habits ?

I am not saying going to a pub is a bad thing because you can be going for business reasons or to casually socialize.

However Bar hoping becomes a problem when you make it a priority over your dreams. You can sit here convince me that you want to succeed but I am going to judge you based on your actions.

In a nutshell if your “friends” aren’t motivating you to do things to get closer to your goals you better let them go.

Be humble

Don’t assume that you know it all because you don’t.Having a know it all  attitude only  allows you to go in a deep state in a fantasy world so when reality finally decides to slap you in the face you will not be able to guard yourself.

Mind your business

Every little time you get should be used  as a stepping stone or a launch pad to get you to the next level.

This can’t be done if you are poking your nose into everyone else’s affairs.Let people deal with their own issues, clean  up your back yard ,build your legacy first.

You are not an exception to the rule

There are people out there  now that you and I both know that  are highly successful like Garry V .He dedicates time building wine library ,he sacrificed alot of time early on in life as a teen learning the family business when most others were out playing and  partying .

When you see a success story like that  don’t think that it happened over night. What you need to consider is the time and effort behind the scenes.This way you will be better prepared  for what is to come and have a deep appreciation of the process.

Remember that success is not a one stop shop ,neither is it guaranteed.

Check your ego at the door

Control your ego because things can get  ugly  and karma has a special way of jumping up and biting you in the ass when you least expect it.

One minute you are up, the next minute boom you are on the ground.I am not saying that you will not fall but don’t bring it on yourself.

• Talent
• Discipline
• Desire
• Strategy

Those are the ingredients that you need on your journey.

Conclusion

It boils down to desire ,discipline and a willingness to push through the storm when things get tough.
