Socialmedia is buzzing right now .As a matter of fact it has been buzzing for the last 10 years plus and shows no signs of slowing down.

Billions of people use the internet on a daily basis .

So that spells out opportunity .

That is opportunity to sell but more importantly to  differentiate yourself to capture attention too

Many businesses fall short in this area .

Here is what you need to know .With-out attention your establishment cannot thrive.

To make matters worst following the crowd is popular but detrimental.

Because you blend in .You do not stand out.

That is what usually hurts marketers and businesses alike .It is like operating in  sheep like fashion.

Some marketers are money hungry others are vulnerable.

Some lack the fundamentals .

Those are the individuals and corporations that wind up losing market share .

Being vulnerable has its consequences .

The reason being is It comes across as being weak , desperate unaware depending on the situation.

On the other hand I know  there are a few genuine brands that interact with the people and stand out.

Wine library is examplirary of how people marketing should be executed.

Very few seem to be focused on building skill sets and long lasting business relationships.

Brands are in such a hurry .

The mindset is (I have to get make the sale now .)

The push marketing effect is in full mode .

The Old tried tactics no longer carry the weight they used to.

The social culture has shifted .

People are  tired of being treated like prostitutes.

Years before you was able to push out radio adverts,bill boards , Tv and make sales .

That was then and this is now .

You have to work.

Socialmedia marketing is evolving .In my opinion it will continue to do so.

Sharing Content and building audience engagement is what drives success.

But it comes with a price .

Time and patience is the prerequisite .

Earn your authority.

Stop being lazy trying to automate the process.

People want genuine conversation they do not want to interact with robots all of the time.

Customers are not giving up their dollars as easy as they used to.

They want your undivided attention.

This is one of the many reasons why brands need to pay attention.

Relationship building and marketing should operate as a functioning  unit.

Company Goals need to be outlined.

Having a focused idea of audiences .

Knowing what they like and dis like .
Which means company advertising and messages is clear .

Meaning A message that the consumer knows likes and trust.

Further more A Company theme is more about what you say and do.

Being unique and delivering value speaks volumes.

Here is a quick question .

What are you doing that your competitors aren’t ?

That will definitely seperate your brand from the rest .

It easy to find businesses having fire sales offering discounts and that is the norm.

People have become accustomed to that

It is a ploy to get money .

But how many companies are over-delivering .

Over delivering in the sense ( if you butch up on a customers order are you willing to Express the delivery?)

Think about it for a moment .

We all consume so it shouldn’t be hard to imagine .

Yes there is more to it than the naked eye can see.

Price points are key factors too.

This is why market research is important.

Market research gives you the insight on market size .

By doing market research your company can determine whether or not to continue or pursue certain product development.

For instance ; There might be a market but not one large enough to recoup the cost of research.

What sense does it make developing products knowing you will lose ?

Market research is the bridge between development research and sales .

Knowing your strenghts and assembling a team that knows and understands what is needed is a strength.

The company has to operate as a unit other wise there will be chaos .

And if a business  is dis-organized then how do you expect to connect with the customer in an intimate way .

It is unlikely .

When the team members know and understands the theme magical things happen.

And Never ever deny customers the service they need.

Whether they are buying or not .
And what do I mean ?

Subordinate emmediate profits for long term gains .

Give the customer advice and content.

We have to learn to give without expectations.

We  must also  learn to seperate business and emotions.

For some reasons there are some of you that feel entitled to sales.

So when a customer decides to shop elsewhere you lose interest .

Your basis of giving is circumstantial .

Definently not a company destined for long term growth.

People pick up on attitudes like that .

Hence why I am a fan of giving without expectations.

Start reciprocating and practicing empathy.

Most seem to be in a hurry to sell.

However The brands standing out are heavily involved,interacting on social media

Brands that do that know and understand the importance of customer service.

I had to reshape my thinking too . I had come to terms that I had to engage and give value consitently .

Those simple tactics help you to stand out.

Suprisingly a lot more businesses have not picked up on it .

 

Some brands must find easier asking for sales verses building long term relationships which pays dividends in the long run .

With that being said there are ways to ask for sales then there are ways not to.

If you have  take  time to prime your prospects instead of going  straight for the jugular there is less resistance.

Take the high road and show empathy

Business is about the people so If you want your company  to be  recognized you had better tune in to the people

Knowing your target audience is just as important.

You do not want to be spending marketing dollars targeting groups of people that are not interested in your products and services .

That would be a harsh lesson to learn .

If you try and market to everybody you market to know body .

So at that point you would barely get recognition.

Which means there wouldn’t be a demand for your services

Let me go into more depth as to what I mean .

Take note of brands like Mac donalds Apple, Nike .

One of the reasons why these brands stand out is because they have edtablished themselves as high quality service providers.

Not only that but  their message aligns with  Customers needs .

Apple is the leader in electronics .

Macdonalds is the leader in the fast food restaurant chain.

Nike is the leader in foot ware.

Mac donalds has the recipe and taste that no other chain has.

The taste of their burgers and fries is second to none .

So their recipe helps make them stand out .

Apple with the phones and samsung comes in handy.

Apple is known for designing durable innovative products .

So when it comes time to buying a phone people are more likely to buy an Apple .

They are leaders in the industry.

This is what I learned from that.

You have to drive change to win people over

And innovation drives success.

A lot of brands failed because they failed to adjust meet the changing needs of their customers.

There are companies that have had leadership positions and lost them.

Now some of them lurk in the shadows of the scientifically driven companies.

You make it harder on yourself when you are not the industry leaders.

When ever a company does establish itself as an industry leader very seldon does it get replaced

The only time companies relinquish leadership positions is when complacency sets in and they no longer operate with the same level of competence and efficiecy.

Other than that there is not much you can do to replace them.

This is not to say a younger company cannot be a market leaders.

The innovative young company that researches and develops products that require multi discplinary skills to is the one that can gain market share and take pole position

Apple established itself as a leader through innovation.

Now they stand out.

Let me tell you something.

Being lazy will not make you money .

Be valuable and unique .Those are strengths.

Following the crowd is a weakness.

Bring something unique to the table.

If your business is not people service orientated then why be in business ?

Are you in it  just for money ?

The money only comes after the conversation communication .

And none of this can be accomplished without attention .

The people dictate what is and what is not .

I very much doubt that businesses determine trends .

I mean the whole algorithm is based on peoples serach inquiries

It is the people that help determine and shape the need for a business.

So if you are not building around the people you are setting yourself up for disaster.

No brand builds leadership without the help of the people.

Hence why operating in a sheep like manner is a no go .

Think about it for a moment.

All of the brands doing what the others are doing makes it harder for themselves to stand out.

It is harder to get discovered amongst the crowd.

The chances are slim .It is like trying to find a needle in a haystack.

But why go through the unecessary when you can put in a little more effort on the front end

It is the people that help to determine and consider whether or not to buy from your  business

Do not allow sccess and ego to starve your hunger and willingness to learn and grow .

No business can survive with out people

If you are not pleasing the people chances are you won’t be pleased either because it is going to hurt your bottom line .

Social media branding is an art and a science .

There is no definitive way of achieving goals but there are guidelines .

Your goals are different from mines so I am sure we will diagree on a few things in this post .

No love lost or anything like that .This is my opinion .I am sharing based on experience .
