What is the best quality of sales person  ?

A salesman job is to sell however there is more to marketing than just selling.


The  conversation, relationship and feelings that you plant in shop visitors  is just as important as the sale .


You being unpleasant can piss some one off and get you bad reviews .


Nothing is worst than having to deal with an I’ll mannered employee acting as if he or she is doing you a favor .

I have dealt with exceptionally professional people that go over and beyond .


Makes it easier on me as the customer as apposed to dealing with unprofessional people  .


A good sales man understands the importance of networking and building relationships with people.


A good salesman doesn’t assume to know what the customer wants everytime .


There are several qualities of a sales person that I like .


Listening is  my favorite trait of them all .


Me personally I get annooyed when a sales person bombards me with out greeting me and listening to me.


Just because people are coming into your business establishment it doesn’t mean they are going to buy something .


Some people browse


Some  people come into your business establishment and buy your products and services Some come to browse .


A salesman has a natural tendency to want to sell .

If you could take time and put yourself in the other persons shoes your outlook might change a bit .


I like a salesman that listens and ask questions .



I have dealt with a few sales agent that aren’t customer orientated and have the “know it all ” attitude .


By taking the time out to listen to people in your establishment that shows them that you value their money and appreciate them.


A good salesman builds rapport with people first.


Recognize people are coming to your estsblishment for a solution ..


Sometimes the solution might not result in a direct sale .


For example you might not have the product or answer but can refer me to someone that does.


Recommending people is what good salesman Do


. I know the customer is not always right but you have to be patient,professional, respectful because your job and reputation is on the line .



I have come across some aggressive sales people .


Your ability to  sell is going to determine whether or not your business survives. .


This is why staff training is vital as ever .


Some people are clueless in the sense of how they talk to people.


You can’t be a sales man talking down to people or making them feel uncomfortable.


A Good sales rep is going to make persons feel comfortable .


The good agent is going to do things that empower shop visitors and customers.



I like comparing the salesman to the door man of a hotel .


If you give some one a hard time chances are that person isn’t going to want to come back and possibly want to report you.



If the objective of a salesman is to sell why not go down the path of the least resistance.


Leave as much doors and avenues open as possible for the sales .


That’s how I think anyway.


I wouldn’t want to jeopardize my chances of making sales.


As a matter of fact my method of selling is mostly indirect .


I don’t approach people with direct sales tactics unless it is warranted.


I use content marketing and networking and commenting and  contributing in groups forums to build my resume .


We all consume and we know how we like to be treated .


The problem with some salesman is that they look at people like walking ATM machines .


Some of them don’t know how to converse with people coming into their place of business.


A lack of  communication Can Cost you to lose out on sales commissions.

Some try too hard and then some brag about their products and services.


I can’t stand when some one pitches me telling me I am going to miss out If I don’t buy or sign up etc.


There are sales reps that think that’s cool but it shows a lack of understanding on their behalf.


I like walking into business establishments knowing that I will be treated with decency and respect.


Don’t just make it about the sale .


Smart sales reps make the shop visitors feel warmed and welcomed.

They greet everyone with a smile and don’t get upset or unpleasant if there is a misunderstanding .


The customer is not always right but you cannot afford to argue , you have to find ways to get your point across professionally.


In Today’s world we have tools like socialmedia that we use to get our point across and fast .


  Word of mouth travels fast like rapid fire .


One bad review is all it takes so be mindful..



This is why it’s important to train yourself and staff members so that everyone can be equipped .


You never know what you will face from day to day but one thing is certain not every person entering into your estsblishment has the same personality.
