I need to coordinate my schedule better so that I have more time to blog, hence why I am writing on this topic.
I wasn’t planning on starting this post today until I searched buzzsumo for a topic to share on Twitter with my audience.Anyhow upon searching I found Neil post blogging consistently which is i find to be very informative.
Blogging doesn’t have to be a stressful task,you can save time with a set schedule.
Now I am not an expert in this area but I will be sharing from a personal perspective plus what I’ve learned from others .
Let’sjump in on my 6 point check list
Start ahead of time
Start by drafting your article ahead of time so that you aren’t rushing to finish and Don’t start a post today that needs to be finished tomorrow. You want to be able to relax and not stress your brain trying to transform words and ideas into sentences .
Make it fun
Remember that it is not the end of the world if your post doesn’t go viral ,all that just means that you have some polishing up to do.
We are not perfect but the main thing is to Stick to your schedule and make those tiny adjustments in between time.
Use conversations
I am sure that you have conversations in the day to day runnings of your life.So what better way could you save time trying to find topics then to use conversations as a launch pad to draft up content .?
The idea might not be popular but it is a quick way to gather information and In the end you have more options .
Use twitter
Check out your tweets to see what is getting likes, retweets so that you can use them as headlines or as parts of the body of your story..
Set up a plan b
You never know what can happen in the daily runnings of your life so therefore you should have options.If you ever get in a jam and can’t post manually you can automate your content.
If you have a word press blog you can schedule a series of post at specific times and days.
Summary of thispost
Give yourself time to adjust to the changes.In other words be patient while you transition .Don’t stress if you don’t post on your scheduled day ,it is not the end of the world.
The only way for you to get used to your new schedule is to make an effort to abide by it.
