Automatically when you get online you think and feel that you need a mentor just because you aren’t getting results.
For some reason you believe a that a coach is going to solve your woos.
Some coaches have achieved a lot and that makes you think and feel safe, secure under their direction.
I think investing in a mentor is a good thing .However In reality you are paying people to teach , not get the results for you.A Coaches job is to lay out a plan but the heavy lifting is on you
If you’re looking for a miracle maker you are in for a long ride.
Furthermore With that being said you should know the exact reasons why you want a mentor and what you want to accomplish.
So If you think that your coach is going to do it all for you then you better switch your approach. Go find yourself a media company to promote your services .
This brings me to my next point.
A mentors duty is to teach you . And What you are doing is spending your dollars learning what you could otherwise do yourself.On the plus side you have the advantage of picking learning the information sooner.
As I said before I will say it again (I have nothing against hiring mentors)
Point and example. If you wanted to learn real estate I would highly recommend that you go to one of Robert kiyosakis seminars. In this case you get to learn from a person getting results plus he has experience .On the flip side He is not going to invest the money for you unless you invest in one of his property acquisitions .
What I showed you above is completely different from the buy in concept on the internet.
The truth needs to be told so sit back relax watch this story unfold.

On the internet you can learn anything you want plus there are audios-downloadable e- books you can listen to and read making access to information easier.So don’t believe for one minute that you can buy success.even if your some one has more experience than you that doesn’t mean they have the solution to your problem.

When you buy into coaching programs you aren’t you responsible for taking action ?
Now I have a second question that I want to ask you .What makes you think that what you are learning today is going to be relevant tomorrow ?

With the fast change pace of change of engineering marketing what makes you think that your coaching package isn’t outdated. ?
I think that marketers set too high of expectations on influencers coaches etc.And I also think the “over night success mindset” (get rich quick) causes digital marketers to churn out money hastily.
Plus in this age of technology you can easily snap screen shots of fake earnings.
Now with all intents and purposes I am not trying to detract or discredit anyone.
Surely there are genuine people posting results of revenues and commissions however the unintended consequences still exist.
See what happens is that people’s attention shifts in the direction results .It is not unethical to do but very few of the people posting their earnings statements are going to be forthcoming hence why you should do your own background research.
Funny enough after you make the investment you realize that there is a lot more work to do then what is believed as was advertised.
And it doesn’t help you much when coaches highlight students for making sales in their shopify or Mlm copmany.What it does is lead you to believe that you cannot succeed online unless you invest in their services .And that is a myth ! You can excel with or without coaching .

They do not guarantee success neither do they guarantee failures. Their position is to direct and help you map out a plan to help guide you on a path to meet your goals.
When should I contact a coach
Try exhausting the resources on google Facebook and groups first.The same people charging you for their services are the same people sharing information online for free,that is one of the perks of socialmedia.
Do I need coaching
We all need guidance because we cannot do it all on our own.As marketers we get caught up confined and confused as to why we need coaching.So yes at some point we need an overseer.
Should I gnore expert advice ?
No ! Keep your ears eyes and mind open.Always consider the source .In the words of John F Kennedy “Trust but verify .”
How long should I wait until I contact a coach
What are your goals ? Are you going to be patient in throughout the process ? I mean if you want to fork over your hard-earned dollars without taking the time to learn and fail you might contact one sooner.
Truth be told there is no definitive time as to when you should contact one.However I would say as soon as you identify your goal it would be wise to make a decision.
Am I a good mentor
Not everyone is cut from the same cloth.Your strength might be brand influencer on a large-scale . Cater to your strengths and you should be alright.
Have I accomplished enough to be a coach
Had bill gates waited until he achieved a certain level of status before started anything he would not be one of the worlds riches men today.So It is a matter of following your passion ensuring that your passion is useful and profitable.
Mlm compensation packages
You have to investigate the company that you want to join.So It will not hurt to get industry advice about the company .Check out the companies compensation plan and compare it to that of another in the industry. If you do not know what you want or what you are looking for then by all means leave it alone or seek wise council.
Am I a recruiter
Some of us think that we are recruiters until we face the test of time.It is not always what It seems to be on the surface.Frustration anxiety kicks in real quick when we aren’t making commissions .Do you have the temperament and discipline to lead and recruit.Know your strengths and weaknesses.So even if you aren’t a recruiter there are more avenues open like e-commerce .
Which MLM should I join
This all depends on your goals. I would prefer to join companies with integrity and goals similar to mines.Here again research will do the job.
How much should I spend to join
Do not bankrupt yourself .You should have a budget if not you had better organize your finances. In the Mlm world there is lots of up selling going on . Here again do not exceed your budget .
Who is my up line
Your up line in marketing terms is your (sponsor) the person recruiting you .In actuality All the person did was recruit you.So that term sponsor is being used loosely.
How should I recruit
Definitely not with your links.The best practice for recruiting is solving problems.In other words addressing specific needs in your market.Giving Value is an indirect way of selling .The more value you give,the more recruiting you will do.
Coaching advice
Do not think for one minute that your coach is going to hold your hand.Chances are your mentor has dozens of other affiliates to teach . This means you will learn through trial and error on your own anyway.
Coaching programs become obsolete
Make sure that your coach is a person that is constantly challenging his /herself to evolve. If you end up investing in a person that is rigid (not flexible willing to change) you will find yourself in a bad predicament.
Recruiters like to up sell
Be aware that there is very little empathy in the internet marketing arena.Everyone seems to be focused on sales and up selling.Yes You need revenues to help sustain your business however it shouldn’t be done at the expense of value .
There are Genuine coaches online.
If you are going to establish and distinguish yourself from the rest then make relationship building a priority not one time cash grabs.
The internet marketing niche is saturated and that is a good thing.First off it means that there is a demand for products and services .The Second thing that it gives you is the opportunity to get into the mix to differentiate yourself from the rest of the pack. The most important thing you have to focus on is not only in being unique but in representing yourself as valuable.
I couldn’t give you an exact number but internet marketing is on the rise .
The number of people joining affiliate programs promoting their links daily weekly monthly is proof that there is a demand in the market.
Do not be fooled or tricked with gimmicks .There is nothing wrong with networking investing in a coach but it can’t be done out of haste or spite.
Learn from other yes congratulate others yes but do not allow them to influence you to make financial decisions based on their personal achievements.
I have heard some of the sad stories of people burning holes in their pockets .
All of this can be avoided if you truly take the time to do your home work up front.
If some one wants to come along and give you advice do not shun them away .
Despite the pitfalls that exist the time for opportunity has never been so ripe.
